Making East Northport look Spiffy since 2003
The East Northport Garden Club main mission is to beautify East Northport and to educate the public on horticulture needs and standards.
The Garden Club is involved with community projects year round and is funded gracefully by the chamber of commerce.
Our past projects have included
~Flower Pots and hanging baskets on Larkfield road
~"Welcome to East Northport" sign
~The East Northport Festival
and much more
At past meetings we have had guest speakers on topics such as ground fertilization and new fertilizing standards in New York state by an adjunct Professor from Farmingdale State University. As well as a speaker on the history and sociological impact NYC parks have on a community.
The Club meets every first Wednesday of the month at 7:30pm at At Atria Senior Living next to St. Anthony of Padua church. Field trips are on the first Saturday of the month. All are welcome to join!
